EXAMPLES OF CHALLENGES & SOLUTIONS

The Client's inventions, having application in the automotive industry, were patented worldwide, however, over a ten year period, the company was unable to attract the investment and
interest of the North American transportation industry.

Globe-Lynx Group advised the Client to investigate the opportunities in emerging markets, such as China.  Through our efforts, US export licensing regulations were addressed with the conclusion that no security barriers existed to prevent the technology from being exported to countries of interest.  We then prepared market research that selected China as a target country to export into and we also identified potential investment partners.  As a result, the company has successfully advanced their operational interests in China.

Nonprofits and Chambers of Commerce find it increasingly difficult to meet budgets due to changing donor/member participation and insufficient revenue from other sources of
                                           income while administrative costs rise.

Globe-Lynx Group devised programs including training, government advocacy, industry councils and relevant events that enhanced member value and increased membership and donor participation.  At the same time, we researched and installed affiliation programs that benefited members and brought significant new revenues into the organizations.  To improve efficiencies, we implemented software programs that cut costs and increased productivity.

Small and mid-sized businesses need wide exposure to potential customers and find trade show exhibiting an important venue to gain that exposure.  Trade show exhibiting can be cost prohibitive when the total costs are calculated for the booth design, exhibit space, travel, marketing materials, and human resources.

Globe-Lynx Group delivered a practical solution by co-locating noncompeting businesses at tradeshows significantly reducing the costs of exhibiting.  As an example, we co-located a number of complementary water treatment technologies at a tradeshow that saved all participating companies 63% of total exhibit costs. The co-location achieved higher traffic volume generating more sales leads for all companies than they would have obtained as individual exhibitors.
